I think AM is probably best overall in terms of series run, though I don't think she quite matches up to MR's glory days of back when the material for Lex was top-notch. His performance in S3 was pretty much perfection, but nowadays the Lex material is limited to whining after Lana, so AM's generally my favorite nowadays. Though John Glover also gives both of them a run for their money; that's why I love scenes between any combination of those three! They're always so talented and step it up!
I don't think this is the first time we've seen that Smallville Medical is the worst hospital ever (in addition to being the ugliest). I mean, Lex managed to pay off everyone involved in her checkups and the sonogram and everything to fake that stupid fake baby? The crappy doctor was just the icing on the cake.
