On Nino's J-web today, he said Jun was handling everything, so maybe it was just a rumor (unless he meant Jun is handling everything now?). I know they definitely said they chose the initial setlist without Jun there, so it's unsurprising that it got rehauled over the weekend for the second performance.

From Shukudai-kun, we know that they can almost do A-RA-SHI blindfolded, that's definitely not the problem. But, I spent the day reading reports, and people are all saying that the fan manners at Osaka this weekend were the worst they'd ever seen at an Arashi con. Apparently Arashi did speeches on Friday night but not Sunday, and it was suggested that the fans on Sunday were so awful that we were all getting punished for their sins. :|

The people around us really were awful (Aiba was right in front of us on the stage dancing the Carnival Night dance, and barely anyone was following along even though he was right there for everyone to copy, and there's no way he couldn't see everyone not even moving to the rhythm...plus I saw people sitting down during solos of members they weren't interested in...we were almost right next to the moving stage and only about 15~20 rows back from the main, so there's no way the members didn't notice) but I was hoping it was just the people around me and not the whole Dome. But apparently it was. Someone said that Jun went into the crowd the night I was there, but fans totally crushed some little girls in effort to get near him, and he saw that and then didn't leave the stage again.

So, I think the different feel is probably a huge amount of things: possibly a decreased amount of Jun's input, the setlist being iffy at the beginning, the fact that all of Arashi must be exhausted with their schedule nowadays, and the fact that the audience was so awful that they couldn't really overcome those difficulties. If the audience had been more welcoming, I don't think the weaknesses in the concert would have been much (if any) issue at all. :| I guess we'll wait for Nagoya to see if the lack of speeches/signboards/A-RA-SHI are running trends, or just really severe punishment for bad fan behavior. ;;;
