I don't think anyone really realizes what heroes we are for uncovering this vast conspiracy. At any time, AM could totally pop a cap up in our AZ-kabans. Also I've heard the Chloe mafia is full of murderers and goat fanciers.

I KNOW. I just...do people listen to themselves? I wonder if the "Lana had it coming" population overlaps with the "Jimmy the misogynist asshole" population at all. (I feel like I should know these things. I think I'm the only person in SV fandom who doesn't pay attention to what team everyone is on. I love how all discussions end up going, "OMG IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU THINK BECAUSE YOU (ARE A CLARK FAN/LEX FAN/NEVER LIKED ALLISON MACK/DON'T APPRECIATE EDLOIS BEING SV'S BREAST ASSET) ANYWAY!!!")

But yeah, I saw that too, and cringed. Though I admit, during the episode, I did crack up when Lana was on the phone to Lionel all, "Lex HIT me! It's OVER!" Yeah, she stayed with Lex through the fake baby and Lionel's blackmail, but Lex slapping her? THE LAST STRAW!!!!1!11! Ohhh, Lana, you and your priorities.

I wonder that too. Of course, the Jimmy people are often the same people who are HYPER sensitive about anything like how sexist it is when people point out how often ED is nekkid. And the Lana slap people seem to be the ones with NO sensitivity. But, in fandom having completely contradictory viewpoints is kinda normal so I wouldn't be surprised.

(OH I KNOW. As soon as someone makes an argument someone else doesn't like it's like "Well remember that one time in 2002 when you said that Lex was a woobie?!? YOU CAN'T GO BACK ON THAT NOW!" I can only really remember the alligences of a few people, either because they annoy the shiz out of me or it's like...really obvious.)

I didn't mind it as much when some people were celebrating in the vein of Stompy the Wonder Horse, but some people were like....dead serious. O_O I lollerskated at that too though. She was totally cool with the FAKE BABY and all the people he kidnapped and experimented on.

I pretty much just sit on the sidelines of SV fandom to point and laugh, but I'm kind of secretly waiting for the day to come that someone goes, "Well, you made CHLIONEL FANART and have a socially unacceptable amount of icons so YOUR OPINION DOESN'T COUNT!!!1!11" (Though admitting to kind of liking Lana now has undoubtedly lost me most of my SV street cred. Damn.)
