Warrior: the writing in this was so bad. Obviously they were pushing some kind of meta point that probably won't be totally clear until like five episodes from now in retrospect, but they didn't even want to make the dialogue sound like something humans would say, even on SV.
Zee just kept yapping and yapping and WORDS WERE COMING OUT OF HER MOUTH BUT I COULDN'T HELP BUT TUNE HER OUT.
I did really dig the Chloe and Steven stuff, though. It was so lighthearted and fun, and I loved the sense of wonder he had about his powers and meeting heroes and saving people, while Chloe and Clark both said they thought it was a living and their normal humdrum everydays. I have missed that wide-eyed sense of innocence SV had in its yesteryears, so I found it really charming for a character to be like, DUDE, YOU GUYS LIKE HAVE YOUR OWN BATCAVE AND SAVE THE WORLD AND YOU'RE BORED BY THIS? HOW? All the heroes are so mopey, so him and Stargirl last week were welcome guest stars to advise everyone to lighten up a bit.
Okay. FIRST OF ALL: THE GIF, FOR THOSE WHO WANTED IT.
Not actual picspam here, mostly HQ caps of the comic book under the cut.
I will say, though, that I'm just not comfortable with these two worlds colliding:

NOOOOOOOO ISHIDA WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON SMALLVILLE YOU SHOULD NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS :(((((
IN WHICH WE LEARN THAT WARRIOR ANGEL IS, LIKE SMALLVILLE, ALL ABOUT THE PLOT:

Then, the comic book pages...

(note that both Lois and Chloe activate his superhearing this episode. I think that's the first random time for Lois ever like that?)

So Clark isn't Clark, and a perceived betrayal will make him go batshit crazy to reveal it.
Penelope in this comic is clearly drawn to make us think she's Chloe this time, even though she wasn't a blonde before.
Though this comic is apparently somewhat of an AU that existed outside real comic continuity as an untold story... So it doesn't count?Much like SV
That said, I don't think it'll be Lois who tells him he's gone too far and stops him, with the way the story is set up right now. Especially since it was Chloe who set off Steven this episode by trying to get him to chill. So more muddying of the waters on Penelope meta.
AND IN CLOSING:

THERE IS LIKE AN RBB COSPLAYING POSSE. OMG I LOVE IT SO MUCH.

Also the Ollie cosplayer was strolling around the con with a cute brunette on his arm, ahaha.

I'm trying to load this to Twitpic. I'm not sure how to credit you though because it should be credited. If you don't want it tweeted, let me know.

The highlight for me was Carlo Marks. Can we switch Tom in for the newer, sparkly shiny model? :D

Yes, please! :)

THIS.

I actually, kinda, sorta enjoyed this episode. Barring Clois, which I never enjoy, I thought it was really quite cool.
And Carlo Marks did ever such a good job. I hope there are good things in store for him. He's a good enough actor to deserve them.

And thank you so much for using that icon. *stares*
I wish Davis were still around. He wouldn't stand for this Chlollie stuff. LOL.

The people dressed up as the RBB are cute and all, but Clark was only known as, you know, a BLUR. If everyone knows the guy always wore a red jacket and blue t-shirt, then surely everyone would be remembering that Clark always wore that outfit and saying, "Oh, hey, Clark's the blur!" So cute, but illogical.

Thankeeeeeeeeeee for this

I find it interesting how Angel Warrior is suppose to represent Clark and Chloe ends up representing Penelope, aka Angel Warriors true love! And Chloe even got to fly with Warrior Angel. I would like to believe that this comic represents what will happen later in the season and it will be revealed that Clark isn't really Clark and Chloe is the one to pull him out of it but I just don't trust the writers enough to do a storyline this cool on the show...and even if they did, they would find some way of screwing it up by having Nois come in and save Clark instead of Chloe so I don't think I would want them to try to do it anyways!
Great gif by the way! Thanks for making it! Snagging! :D

I thought the point of the one who got it right being shot from the back was to remind us that we still automatically assume the red jacket = Clark; i.e. something isn't right. And the group's wearing different combos with hoodies and leather jackets and stuff; I don't think it's that illogical given the point they were trying to make.

But then he slams into Clark, wearing black, and glares at him and walks off with the other RBB's. It was presumedly a wink to remind us that we still associate Clark with the red jacket, and something's off.

I'm sure you're right. That was certainly my reaction: "Hey, look, it's Clark!"
