My flist has been so adorbs this week. I've been running around like crazy (Mother's Day + stepdad's birthday + trip + work) and haven't actually commented to other peoples' *~feelings~* posts but I LOVE EVERYONE SO MUCH.

ngl, I still don't really believe it's over. This show has risen from the grave so many times that even now with literally hours to go, I don't believe it. I'm probably still going to be waiting until upfronts secretly believing they will pull a Seventh Heaven, despite knowing it's impossible (...OR IS IT?).

I'm getting on a plane in a bit, so I'm gonna be missing a lot of the pre-show countdown. I'm just gonna add my *~feelings~* post to the pile now:

This show is ridiculous, which is something we all totally recognize and then went ahead and kept on caring anyway. We lived through the GAYLEs, Lana's (SPOILER ALERT) pancaked parents, Stompy the Wonder Horse, the walls/sharks/darkness around Lex's pants, Mulana, the underground railroad, Stride gum, an endless quantity of SECRETS AND LIES, and (last here but certainly first in my heart) the fake baby.

And yet for a decade (despite perhaps our better judgment), we still didn't stop caring about that one girl on a mission, here to bring us the truth.

I'd never say this show is my favorite of all time (because lol no), and the fandom taken as a whole is totally off the wall, but... Just in terms of my own personal experience, I think this fandom has been and probably always will be most important to me. There will never be another like this. I'm so grateful for all the people I've met and everything we've accomplished as a group. ♥

Last week it was, "TUNE IN TO FIND OUT IF CHLOE'S A TRAITOR!!!!!" in this super peppy voice and I couldn't stop laughing, but this week's is SO MUCH BETTER. Announcer dude is almost cracking up this time.

Okay. I actually kind of like this poster and it's probably the best work Herman has ever done. The sentiment of NEO IS OUT, RED AND BLUE IS IN is pretty groovy. But it would not be Herman if Routh!Supes did not match with Tom's pose, like, at all.

I was like, "OH HERMAN. TO IMAGINE THIS COULD POSSIBLY BE THE FINAL PHOTOSHOP DISASTER..."

I am also slightly disappointed in the "Destiny is now" tagline. COME ON, SHOW. YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THIS. We all remember THE SINGLE GREATEST AD CAMPAIGN OF OUR TIME. And when the CW launched with their EXTREMELY EDUCATIONAL campaign teaching us highly complex geometrical concepts!

TRY HARDER, SHOW. I KNOW YOU HAVE IT IN YOU TO BE EVEN MORE RIDICULOUS. ♥

I JUST WANT TO FINISH MY STUPID PROJECT. I know I was like, "I WILL FINISH BY THE END OF HIATUS!" but it's so much easier to do this as much at once as possible, because then it's way easier to remember what repeats where, and the names of all the tags. ;w;

SO YESTERDAY I CAPPED ALL OF S7, PUT TOGETHER THE GRAPHICS, UPLOADED AND TAGGED ALL OF IT BY THIS AFTERNOON...AND THEN TONIGHT I SAT AND CAPPED ALL OF S8 IN ONE SITTING. :(

WHEN THIS IS ALL OVER I SWEAR I AM GOING TO FORGET ALL OF THE HORRIFYING KNOWLEDGE I HAVE OF CHLOE'S EARRING COLLECTION, BECAUSE THAT MUST BE TAKING UP SO MUCH BRAIN REAL ESTATE.

Clicking on the tags = highly recommended. (Big repeat offenders/stuff that just blew my mind in making return appearances years later: red butterfly bag, red diamond-shaped dangle earrings, turquoise bracelet, yellow and red earrings, pink and orange messenger bag, blue painted necklace, earrings from Tempest. Oh, and she was wearing this necklace all the way up to S8 at least. I think this is her most-used item overall.)
