I actually liked the idea of them a lot until last year with Requiem. But this season Ollie is still obviously hung up on Lois completely.
It seems like Chloe and Ollie are just gonna be friends with benefits off that scene, but I can't really get excited about it when Chloe is obviously still hung up on real!Clark (her reaction to heroic Stephen this episode), and Ollie is still hung up on Lois. If I thought they were actually switching over to Chlollie for reals, I'd go for it, but they've been pushing Ollie/Lois as this epic unrequited thing for the entire season, so I think those two have to get some payoff.
When Lois snaps her fingers I'm sure Ollie would go back to her happily, so it seems like another setup for Chloe to easily get screwed over and look like second best again. So it's hard for me to get enthusiastic about it overall even if I think it could be fun while it lasts.
I think almost everyone is like, "Well, if this is what it takes for Chloe to have screentime we'll take it," and then some people are mega excited and some people don't care, lol. I'm all for more Chloe though so I'll just see where the story goes.
