Also, Donna was winning by a good margin last night, but Ten is catching up. I agree with

mojotastic in there needing to be moar awesome ladies as finalists, because ladies were sorely lacking last year. So voting up Donna would also be awesome! Also, Buffy, for the same reason: Spike may yet catch up, and there will be enough bad boy vampires in the game as it is since Eric and Damon are locks.

Kara, Aeryn, and Veronica Mars seem to have their categories locked up though so that makes me happy. (Except I was fail there and of the three only voted for Veronica, myself. I heart Gaeta and my love for Aeryn is only eclipsed by my adoration for John. SORRY KARA AND AERYN BUT YOU WILL WIN ANYWAY.)

I don't think it's possible to take down Dean this early, alas. I think the worry of Dean taking it again this year is valid but I'm thinking if anyone has a shot at taking it away this year, it's probably Eric? I can't think of any other character that's exploded in popularity so much in the last year.

I'm surprised that Nine is pretty far down on the list. I have to admit that it came down to Donna vs Nine for me and I picked Nine.

I voted for Chloe already but I hope this gets her a few more votes so she can pull ahead.

Haha, I saw that! I don't watch it but everyone on my flist who does seems to love both the girls like crazy, I wasn't surprised to see it come out like that.

I haven't looked at the results, but if you saw obvious socks in the mix, you should PM the mod about it since she said no socking plz in the rules.

Yay, for Chloe now only being 4 votes behind, it was something like 50-60 votes earlier today! But then I figured that the Lois fans got organised faster then us, and pimped it in their comms earlier, so she already had most of her votes at the time when she was so far ahead, whereas we've just only started actively rerecruiting the comms for Chloe votes :D

Oh Bonnie is apparently a huge fan favourite, although I've never been that riveted by the witch storyline tbh. I'm guessing her fanbase crossovers from the books quite a bit as a lot of people are all over Damon/Bonnie because of what happens in the books

I was SO surprised Donna was winning it. I thought both Ten and Rose would be beating her, and she was kicking both their asses last night! I think the chances for ladies overall are looking much better than last year too. I think between Donna and Buffy one will see the final stretch, probably.

Same, with Caroline! Ian Somerhalder's douchey face has earned the win, but I was seriously going WTFFFFF at how far behind Caroline was. I like Caroline and Matt better than anyone else except Damon, SADFACE.

YAY for voting up Aeryn! I love John a CRAZY amount (he's probably one of my favorite guy characters everrrr so I had to give it to him) but they're both AWESOME and Aeryn is def up there in my personal pantheon of favorite kickass ladies. Last year the finalists were ALL guys so I think it's exceedingly unlikely. :( Dean won last year so I'd like it to be someone else - I'm putting my money on Eric as the most likely contender.

He did last year, but it seems like a lot of people were bummed about the lack of ladies in the finalists last year, so I'm guessing that's why she's got her lead.

With Eric and Damon in the mix I'm really glad people are behind Buffy, because THREE bad boy vamps in the next round is overkill, even though I like all three.
