(no subject)

I have updated both my coffee meta post and my window meta post to add the more recent episodes, and with the latter I added in several older scenes people reminded me about in the comments.

8x02 PLASTIQUE

The Isis flowers are dead. Chloe tosses them in the trash.

Lois carries the flowers in, then passes them to Clark...

...who holds them while talking to Davis, and then gives them back to Lois to keep.

8x05 COMMITTED

"Revenge is not your best color."

There are always, always, always yellow flowers in Tess' office.

8x09: ABYSS

Red, yellow, blue.

8x10: BRIDE

8x16: TURBULENCE

Yellow.

8x22: DOOMSDAY

Besides Jimmy's grave, in the wide shot, all the flowers on the other graves are yellow as well.

So, yellow flowers = death.

9x02: METALLO

Chloe starts out with yellow flowers next to Jimmy's photo.

9x04: ECHO

9x05: ROULETTE

Jimmy's photo no longer pushed in frame, but the flowers stick around.

9x06: CROSSFIRE

Yellow and white for Tess and Zod at the mansion.

Pink for Lollie.

Hard to spot. Look behind Clark in the frame, and to Chloe's right in the third cap.

9x08: IDOL

Death trap tied with a yellow ribbon.

9x09: PANDORA

Again, hard to see, but they're on the table behind the staircase, positioned directly over Jimmy's photo in the shot.

9x12: LEGENDS

9x13: PERSUASION

LOIS: Valentine's Day is just a smarmy Hallmark holiday engineered by corporate executives to convince people to
spend hard-earned money on dead flowers and overpriced meals! ...but not you two!

Chloe has a bouquet of red roses now instead of yellow. Coincidentally, in this episode, Alia dies and it is established that this future...

...will no longer be taking place.

After this episode, there are never any flowers on Chloe's desk again.

Harder to see, but yellow flowers are still behind Tess' shoulder.

9x14: CONSPIRACY

The "table for two" she sits alone at.

9x16: ESCAPE

9x17: CHECKMATE

Red vs yellow.

9x18: UPGRADE

Very similar to Abyss.

9x19: CHARADE

The flower shop is also across the street, between them in the shot.

The phone booth has been relocated to outside the flower shop.

The "table for two" from Persuasion and Conspiracy.

9x20: SACRIFICE

9x22: SALVATION

10x06: HARVEST

10x10: LUTHOR

10x10: ICARUS
