Spoilers said she was supposed to have a scene with Ollie AND with her flying around the club, which were both cut. How delightful that we got, like, what felt like a half-hour of Nois the S&M club mistress instead (GOD WHY WOULD THAT AWKWARDNESS NOT END, both that and JH's neverending pauses in the church scene were like CAN WE PLEASE CUT AWAY FROM THIS ALREADY BECAUSE I'M SURE KARA IS OFF BEING WAY MORE AWESOME OFFSCREEN). I haven't bought the DVDs in two years because of iTunes, but I'm going to be all over that shit for the Kara deleted scenes. Though I'm guessing her flying bit got cut because they didn't have time to do the effects for this episode and 200 got priority. Boo.

Also, Clark crashing through the barn roof made my YEAR.

My parents never got the CW at the old house after the WB died post-S5, and only recently moved to an area that got it. Back in the day we used to all watch as a family (my stepdad would be constantly screaming, "WHAT DOES HE EVEN SEE IN LANA?!?! CHLOE'S STANDING RIGHT THERE!!!!!" at the TV).

My mom's reactions to seeing the show for the first time in years have been hilarious.

MOM: The Talon still EXISTS?!?
ME: lol yes.

MOM: (last week, at the end) OMG I KNOW YOU SAID HE WOULDN'T FLY UNTIL THE END BUT HE'S TOTALLY GOING TO FLY!!!!!
ME: He's not going to fly, Mom.
MOM: (this week) OMG HE'S TOTALLY FLYING!!!!!!!
ME: HE'S NOT GOING TO FLY, MOM.
CLARK: (DOES NOT FLY)
MOM: WHAT A LOSER.

OLLIE: (is onscreen)
MOM: WOW. WOW. THOSE ABS. WOW.
ME: Yeah, you'll be seeing a lot of those if you stick around.

MOM: (re: Nois) I don't even remember her. Was she on the show back when I was watching?
ME: ...yes, Mommy.
MOM: (scrunches up face trying to remember) ... (LIGHTBULB) Oh! Wait! Was she the girl who was talking up how cool the buttons in the Ford Fusion were?

I think she was supposed to have a scene too with BOTH nois and clark. They cut at least three of her scenes based on spoilers so really, her decision to become Linda Lee Danvers after everything with her onscreen as a model made little to no sense but...that's a-ok!

I have. I even went to the gym at 7 so I wouldn't be tempted. But I like Kara, and then Toby watched it first and told me that Kara was amazing and Clark was such a stupid loser, so I watched most of it online, and minimized and muted all of Nois' scenes. It was peer pressure. But like I said, I watched online, so even if the Secret TV Police know what I'm tuning into, nobody knows!

I always loved Kara and really liked the Kara/Clark interaction, so I thought when she was coming back that she'd be used to rehabilitate Clark's image after all his fail. Except that totally didn't happen. But I didn't mind, because getting an episode showing her awesome while Clark fails over and over again = PRICELESS.

I liked this episode for Kara, but the bondage club bit with her was the single most awkward thing I've ever seen on SV and the editing dragged to make it feel like it went on FOREVER. Maybe just skip through that part?

I know! I don't have S8 on DVD so I don't think my mom ever will see the Davis abs. Pity. :(
