Nice pick up on the cake, I'd missed that. I had seen the Tempest kiss flash backs with the superman crest which was amazing, but I'd missed that. Thanks for the picspam it caps up all of the awesome. Plus how great was it to see reporter Chloe again with him? Siiiiiiiiigh.
Clark is dumb but, I do have to say it's clear now that he loves her as much as she loves him. I love how they know each other backwards and forwards (down to the Ageless-era photo in the yearbook). It's so Superman II there, that it's hard for me to hate him completely.
Brainiac is still driving the show, I think he got exactly what he wanted, it just took a little time. Now he's got a body to control AND a FoS. Sneaky bastard.
Also, I'm totally thinking AM's hair is long again, that's why all the earpinning and curling, which I think has to be a good thing that it's going to be long going into the next group of eps. Cause it's beautiful.
How awesome were the minor flash backs? I think the only thing not included there was Devoted, but it was a great re-establishment of their history. And that WoW room - I'm thinking she's had a crib sheet a lot longer than Identity (when the comps first fail) - and all those screens! Lex, Lionel, Jonathan, Martha, Jimmy, Ollie? Just. Wow!
