OMG. The iTunes store is my new best friend: I didn't know until now that you could get SV there. It is so worth paying two bucks to have caps without that fucking CW logo! The caps are a little grainy when sharpened, but still!

And there were so many cool little flashes in the episode that I didn't notice until I capped it, which made me love it more. Especially the "Vessel" scene. The kids running directly through the Planet basement doors! The Superman logo flashing across the top of the "Vessel" kiss (SO. FREAKING. EPIC).

You can see a stream of (non-Doomsday) Kryptonian symbols running across the screen when Clark gets erased, with the Superman logo featuring prominently (I am going to take a stab and guess it's the message from "Rosetta"? anyone know?) which fade away as the camera closes in on Chloe enveloped in the Doomsday symbol.

And when Chloe takes Davis' hand, the Doomsday symbol flashes on top of the Superman symbol, like it's blotting Clark out.

Also loved how they remembered only to show the kisses Chloe remembers, I'd kind of forgotten she only remembers the first, "Magnetic," and "Vessel." Chloe is getting screwed, memory-loss-wise, that's half she's forgotten...

"What's going on...? This isn't what happened."

"Okay, I know this looks a little weird."
"What's going on, Chloe?"
"Jimmy's right. I have been drawing a few blanks."
"A
few?!"
"Well, yeah, but I've just been kinda using this as... 'Chloe Sullivan's Crib Sheet.' And whenever I forget someone, like...my fiancee... I come here to remind myself of how we're connected."
"Listen to what you're saying. You've had to paste your entire life on these walls. There's something seriously wrong with you."
"I still remember you."

"The night that I saw you catch that car with your bare hands.... It changed my life. For the better. Clark, thanks to you, I've actually made an impact on the world. I wouldn't trade that for anything."

"Do you remember the name Kal-El?"
"...should I...?"
"What about Krypton? Or Brainiac?"
"Brainiac? Oh, people used to call me that when I was a kid! ...right...? What, I'm forgetting something important now! What don't I remember?! Look, Clark, this isn't gonna stop. I'm losing everything..."

"Got any advice for an MRI rookie?"
"It won't take long. You'd best better just close your eyes, and think of a place that makes you happy."

"I know you've been thinking about it all day. So I figured we'd just get it out of the way..."

"I can't lose you, Clark!"
"Chloe, I'll never leave you."

"Davis...?"
"Hey, Chloe."

"My memory's MIA."
"Then how could you know who I am?"
"I don't know! I just do! But you're the only one! It's like you've become my entire world!"
"Listen, Chloe, we should call your friends."
"No, no, no! I can't remember any of my friends! Davis, I don't trust anyone but you!"

(I lol'ed so hard here. Five years of nobody giving Chloe a second glance, and now that Lana's off the show, every guy in the room adores her more than anyone else. ABOUT DAMN TIME.)

"You've been the best friend and ally I could have had, Chloe. The truth is, you've saved me more than I ever could have saved you. I'm sorry to go back to hiding the truth from you. But the best way that I know how to protect you...is to let you go."

"I gotta get to Metropolis to drop off our check to the florist before they close."
"I'll make a run to the city for you."
"Are you kidding me? That's a good two hour trip, and you drive like an old lady."

"I heard you're not gonna be able to make it to my wedding. I'm really gonna miss you being there."
"Chloe, I lied. They don't need me at the hospital that day."
"Please tell me this isn't because of all the drama I put you through..."
"No. No. It's not you. You're...beautiful."

"There's some sort of connection between us, Chloe, and I know that you feel it, too."
"Okay, stop. Davis, this...this connection...it was never
this."
"I understand. But I am not ready to let you go. I will wait for as long as it takes. You know where to find me."

"Your son is destined to fail. Soon a new age will dawn on Earth. An age of power and strength. And the fall of the House of El. Doomsday is coming!"

In conclusion: mindrape is bad, Clark is a dumbass, Chloe is absolutely awesome and is going to kick Clark's ass when she finds out, I love these two more than Clark loves pie, and did I mention how EPIC this episode was? EPIIIIIC.

Also, I HEART JAMES MARSTERS' VOICE. EPIIIIIIC.

"Bride" promo: The wedding color scheme in the promos makes it pretty clear as to the Brainiac question. Like Chloe would stand for orange and yellow as her wedding colors if James Marsters weren't the one still driving. SO FUG. Her wedding dress is gorgeous, though!

(Where have you been pimping this that so many people below say they got here through you? XD)

I almost screamed when it jumped to Dark Thursday and she was in that coat again. I can't believe it hasn't even been half a season since she got fired from the DP, it feels like an eternity.

I can't totally hate Clark either, because I realize in his own deeply stupid Clark way, he did it out of love. But at the same time, I want to smack him because he doesn't listen to anything she says. Like, in his own Clark-morality-bubble, I realize this makes sense, but it was just a few weeks ago that Chloe was yelling at him for acting morally superior because of his powers, and just the same day when she said she didn't want to forget. I can't help wanting to throttle him for not even thinking about what she would want. This is all about his guilt complex.

But at the same time I recognize that the day that Clark can step outside his guilt complex will presumably never come, and this is really the best I can expect from him. I do still want Chloe to be mad and for him to grovel a bit when it all gets solved, though.

I loved seeing her hair back in S5!mode too. When they ironed it out again, it looked exactly the same as in Vessel.

Ohh, I totally blanked on the fact she remembered Devoted! But I can understand why a mindwhammied kiss didn't quite rate in her top five list. XD

I still love how two of the people on the screens are dead, and yet they still rate flatscreen monitors over Lois. I can see Lana pasted on the wall, but no Lois at all. Chloe's priorities clearly mesh with my own.

In secret, secret places! :P

Dark Thursday was AMAZING! I really do think it's a reminder that Chloe's going back to a saved DP.

Yes, it's Clark's deeply stupidness but it's in character. But I mean he watched her being completely erased and thus *looks at reckoning* Stupid move, to the extreme. He really needed Martha to be a talk point against him there at the end, and I think his characterization suffered for the lack of it.

I so think she's growing her hair out.

Yes, she forgot Devoted but that was the only one.

HAHAHA! Oh man, I missed Lana on the wall. That's fantastic.
