Yeah, this trailer pretty much killed any last speck of hope I had that it wasn't really Clark. It was mostly gone after Chloe's comment in the Wonder Twins sides, but now I totally give up. In all senses of the phrase. D:

On rewatch they could have just cut it together misleadingly I guess, but between this and Chloe's comments in the sides that make it sound like this is a long-term problem, I'm just going with worst-case-scenerio now. If I get pleasantly surprised that would be great, but. Before we got any spoilers I was assuming they were going to play it like Superman: Doomsday where the clone who replaces Clark is disturbingly violent while saving people and blows off Lois. Here Clark's just coming off as emo across the board and whining about giving up everyone important to him.

It's a Dark!Clark arc, done far less well than Exile was. And I don't see how anyone can be excited about that suit when he looks like a villain.

Yeah, I don't get why they're promoting this like it's something we should be really hyped for. I'm pretty sure nobody tunes in to see Clark flouncing around in villain-wear, talking smack about humanity. How is he relatable?
Whereas the whole Exile arc and its overreaching consequences was by far my favorite Clark storyline on the show. I felt for him, and he really seemed to learn from everything that happened.

Oh I loved Clark's redK arc. It was a mistake, a big one, but he grew from it and it was in a way... so human.

The red K arc is my favorite. He learned, he grew, it seemed to really stick, it had long-reaching impact and they really let that bad choice echo for a while.

Holy crap, they used the exact same backdrop!! Here I am thinking SV actually got a bigger budget to work with this season and it's actually the exact opposite! They think people won't notice?! Get a freaking clue! Seriously, if your budget is so low that your have to rip off your own stuff, I think it's time for the freaking show to end!!
About the poll: I don't know which looks better, I think I like Clarks better but I'm too freaking mad at him to want to vote in favor of him for any poll and Lex looks pretty badass lol!
