If I get pleasantly surprised that would be great, but. Before we got any spoilers I was assuming they were going to play it like Superman: Doomsday where the clone who replaces Clark is disturbingly violent while saving people and blows off Lois. Here Clark's just coming off as emo across the board and whining about giving up everyone important to him.

Whereas the whole Exile arc and its overreaching consequences was by far my favorite Clark storyline on the show. I felt for him, and he really seemed to learn from everything that happened.

Not even relatable, heroic! My bestfriend's ex-died so I'm going to put on black leather? I got it when it was "I killed my unborn sibling and my parents hate me!" I even got the emo "My dad is dead I'm so lost!"
This? This makes no sense.
Oh I loved Clark's redK arc. It was a mistake, a big one, but he grew from it and it was in a way... so human.

The red K arc is my favorite. He learned, he grew, it seemed to really stick, it had long-reaching impact and they really let that bad choice echo for a while.

Sorry. Like the thing is, if Clark had died and had come back to life and this was Clark's way of freaking out. Like if in Failsday Clark had died. and the premiere was him reviving and freaking out and this was from that?
