Oh, I've seen the sexy tailcoat, but has he ever worn purple? I can't be sure since I watched this season fleetingly (and mostly relied on your reviews). Gotta say, TW looks effing hot in purple.
Yeah, I remember the Bizarro bit. I guess they left it off like this so that 1) if season 9 happened, they could be like "Alright, let's 'explain' that it was Bizarro who came out and that's why he was especially an ass even though Clark is almost always an ass to Chloe 2) if season 9 didn't happen, CK died, Superman lives! So stupid.
Wow, that's REALLY stupid about Jimmy. I guess that's what happens when the higher ups get a word in, but I honestly think they would've pulled something just as stupid if DC didn't tamper with them. I felt slapped in the face at his funeral, with the whole HENRY JAMES OLSEN thing, and then his brother. I mean, that's how things roll in comic books, but it just... does not translate well to TV shows -- especially when it's blatantly obvious that they wanted Jimmy version 1 to actually be the Jimmy.
It is ridiculous that the Doomsday fight was that lame. I expected much more than Clark getting bloodied up and then somehow superjumping he and Dooms to the plant. They probably didn't show what happened for budget/next season reasons, but UGH, I at least wanted to see a REACTION to the explosion from all the characters involved! Even the JL was way overhyped.
If this season's finale was that fail, I'm a little scared for next season's. You know the show is totally going to get cancelled by next season, so what kind of crappy finale will we get then?!
