The thing is, if you look at the Sacrifice comics storyline, it's Batman he attacks because Batman is getting too close to the truth about Lord. So CHLOE is the one watching Clark, taping and tapping him; she's the one closest to him who knows already he's distracted and not acting heroic. It makes sense that in 19 Clark will feel betrayed and go after Chloe/Penelope/Batz
