Yes it happened. It was CLEARLY not a joke to the room. It was CLEARLY not taken jokingly by Tom. It cut off the questioning and Tom *split* afterwards. It's often considered a LARGE reason why Tom never did cons, and will never do meet-and-greets.
Oh man, that had to be hella awkward. And especially to poor TW who seems like he cannot even remotely deal with even normal fan stuff/media. He must have been tramatized.
