He played it off to the room with a nervous chuckle and a "I'd have to call my wife."
But yeah. Early on I think he was just too busy, and mot cons are not even remotely paying enough either (the stuff I've heard about his management for getting him $$$ is crazy) but then his fan interaction being like THAT is insane.
I honestly think the only reason he went to ComicCon was (a) no one on ones and (b) he was surrounded by the whole cast. But other than that, it looks like it was a good experience? Beyond that I've never heard BAD things bout him & interactions in person (unlike I have heard about other actors on the program).
It makes me feel bad, cause I think things like that play into our lack of gag reels and him taking part of other PSAs and such (as does the $$$). Those things tend to give him a bum wrap too as shallow even though he's known for buying toys for charity year round (but I think it also can be that whole "Charity shouldn't be publicized!" thing. IDK)
But yes. Apparently, it creeped out THE ENTIRE ROOM TOO.
Which is a shame as apparently, Al Gough made his typically "I love my cast" googoo eyes like he would at AM, KK, and others when he used to do cons; it apparently was hilarious.
