meimichiI have no shame. None. Oh god if this turns into a weekly thing, I will have no life. Though I think the reason this episode was so pretty was because most of it was shot outside.
Second verse, same as the first. When the verse is, PRETTY PEOPLE IN PRETTY NEW YORK!
I found her taking photos of herself all alone to be really sad. Tsukasa should be acting as her tour guide right now! So sad!
...I think Matsushima Nanako has better acting skills than any other person in this drama. That's kind of sad considering her sporadic guest star status, but I LOVE TSUBAKI SO MUCH.
I love how Rui just curls into a ball in the background and stays out of everything.
It's like he should be a coat rack or something.

This is only here for more bubble-blowing antics; I don't care that much about Soujirou. Hee.

Grabbing the whole bottle when there's a cup right there is sooo Tsukasa. Hee.

I like this set a lot.
Oh, new character who approaches the heroine is pure evol. You could knock me over with a feather. I NEVER SAW THIS COMING, GASP!
PRETTY COLORS.
I liked seeing Tsukasa back to being a violent smart-ass, even in just flashback.
And his curls BOUNCE. BOUNCE! I also like Soujirou's hat. Hee.
I want a future sister-in-law to show up all scarily backlit when I'm in a pinch, too!!
That mansion is still freaking gorgeous. I can't get over all of the locations in this episode.
Seriously. BEST ACTRESS THERE.
Aaaaand, Tsukushi chases after a large vehicle...
...before pouring out her feelings. Is this going to become a pattern? I could go with that!
She was so good in this scene and she didn't even say anything!
But Inoue rocked it too!! This was my favorite part of the episode.
I cried both times I watched it. When she burst out saying that she was trying to forget Tsukasa and concentrate on other things, but... "I can't imagine life without him...!"

The Best of Tsukushi and Tsukasa: Flashback Edition, Part Deux
They need to stop showing this flashback because I can't resist capping. I LOVE THIS SCENE SO MUCH.
RIGHT HERE, HERE, IS MY FAVORITE S1 MOMENT. "Liar. You've fallen for me, haven't you?"
"I have fallen for you." IT GETS ME EVERY SINGLE DAMN TIME.
CRYYYY.
And then, both of them...
...walking alone on their separate paths. Sometimes in SERIOUSLY HOT COATS.
Oh, Junpei. Stick around. Your crazy coats are helping me through this bizarre transition period where Tsukasa wears coats I would actually want to buy and wear in public.
HEY MISS "I WANNA BE AN INTERNATIONAL LAWYER" WHY DON'T YOU FIGURE OUT HOW TO SPELL YOUR COUNTRY'S NAME. DEAR GOD.

Though she looks like she didn't know about the wacky antics in advance either. (She's really cute, I love her dress!)
Aaaaand Tsukushi gets royally screwed over by Mama Doumyouji once again!
NEXT WEEK: Tsukasa might possibly show some emotion besides, "I AM MANFULLY BEARING UP AGAINST MY INTERNAL PAIN I WILL SAY NOTHING ABOUT!" to Tsukushi. And hey, maybe he'll even say something vaguely reassuring out loud, if he's running after her. I don't really care as long as I get to watch those curls bounce hilariously.
ALSO NEXT WEEK: Must we keep going back here? It's getting kinda boring.

And it's the manga's fault we keep going back to Rui/Tsuksuhi. The first time was a fluke of sorts. The second time's for real. ;P
And Matsushima Nanako is brilliant. :) I crush on her hard. ^^; She hasn't starred in a drama in like two years, and she seriously NEEDS one, STAT. :D

She IS. I really loved her in S1 and would always clap whenever she appeared, but I loved her even more in this episode since she got to show off her acting skills more than in S1! She DOES need a drama; I'd follow her anywhere~! *giggle*

Also, the fiancee (I love you hardcore, shoujo manga cliches!) is seriously cute. And I covet her dress like whoa.
This episode was seriously *SO* pretty. The locations! The outdoors! The colors! PRETTTTTTY!!! I seriously hope it can be this pretty every week. Is it true that this season is gonna be 15 episodes? Yay, expanded-Hanadan!
I'm also bored with the Rui/Makino. I wish they would just leave them as friends. Also, I'm vaguely afraid that Rui's hair may get hungry and attempt to eat Makino's face as well. I don't doubt it's sinister powers!

Yes, it's true about the 15 episodes! I guess TBS felt bad about the short episode order last season so they tacked on the missing three from S1 onto S2, hee.
I really like the dynamic best on the show when it's F4 backing Makino up. I loved the bit in this episode when they were all chillin' in F4: THE LOUNGE (...*snicker*) and Akira and Soujirou said she'd be able to find a new guy soon but they'd pass, and she was like, "As if I'd want either one of you?!" HEE. I loved that they'd all become good enough friends to joke like that even without Tsukasa there as a factor. :D
