Um. I think...I'll need to break this up into multiple posts as time goes by, and...I'm getting so OCD now that I'm thinking, maybe making an insane, OCD Chloe Fashion Website might be the way to go here. Because I'm like, "Well, yeah, there's all of the stuff that I've found repeating...but I took caps of everything anyway, even if I haven't found repeats yet, and maybe I could just make it so there was a site that has the caps in easy-to-find categories (suits, shirts, coats, earrings, pins, and so on) and also has this list of the clothing continuity! So then everything gets posted, even if it's only been worn once!"

Um. Obviously, this is the Chloe answer tolauranobaka's Veronica Mars awesome wardrobe post series. Because while the Chloe and Veronica comparisons are made for myriad reasons, it all comes down to the fact that they're the only two girls on TV where I've noticed regular clothing continuity. Well, I guess it's possible that Lana and Lois have continuity too, but I very rarely like their clothes (except for Lana's look since the Lexana started, it's far less jailbaity and much more elegant, but I digress).
So, for the sake of slightly inappropriate love for Chloe's style and general all-around OCD-ness, I'm capping episodes and posting the items in Chloe's wardrobe that appear more than once.
This is by no means complete. Not all of the episodes are included yet, sometimes earrings are too blurry in shots or are mostly obscured by Chloe's hair, sometimes the lighting is so off in shots that I can't make out details on clothes to tell if they match. But the stuff that I've posted is the stuff I'm pretty much positive about.
Oh, and pretty frequently items will get mixed and matched within an episode, but I only add the caps for one instance per episode. Like, Chloe has the same purse in "Exposed" when she goes out clubbing and in the Talon scene later, but I only used the cap from the clubbing scene. Because otherwise this would geteven more excessive. Same deal for the two-parters; obviously Chloe's wearing the same stuff in "Vessel" as she is in "Zod," or in "Commencement" and "Arrival."

2) They only had to comb through twenty-two episodes for their project. I've gone through forty-eight so far, and have...eh, there were a handful of episodes Chloe wasn't in, so...somewhere slightly less than 66 to go. *buries head in hands*

Also? I COMPLETELY forgot that it was the love and obsession with teh_jacket that first brought us together. Than, and apparently, a mutal love of both VM and Marmalade Boy. We have both the best and worst taste in television...maybe ever.

I love her Daily Planet suits, and noticed that they rotated, so I thought it would be a cute project to see how many times each showed up. I only started doing the jewelry because I totally fell in love with the gold circular earrings and necklace set in recent episodes.
Plus, logic said it had been done with VM already, so how bad could it be? Then once I had gotten in too deep to dig myself out, I realized that 22 episodes of clothing continuity on VM is less difficult than...god, 114 episodes? of clothing continuity on SV.
And those crazy circular earrings and necklace aside, I never even DREAMED that the jewelry continuity would cross seasons and span years. I mean, that first red pair on the list has been worn almost every year! O_O
