I'm still not spamming the bullshit that went down in this episode, but I took a lot of caps of closeups showcasing Tom Welling's perfect eyelashes and it seems a shame to waste them. The funeral was really pretty too, even if it was by far the crappiest funeral ever in SV history. I also loved the Barbie Dreamhouse in the last OTP scene (even as I hated the scene itself), the lighting in that place is incredible.

+ While I doubt anyone would want to swipe the caps from this post... I've been noticing random people swiping my cleaned-up SV caps for their icons and stuff. Please don't, it's just...bad picspam manners. I didn't really think I needed to mention it, but apparently I do. If you want the original of a cap then ask and I'll be glad to share it.

+ Random pimp: Chloe/Chlois summer challenges comm @ up_away! The first challenge kicks off tomorrow. LET THE FINALE DENIAL BEGIN, I plan on picspamming up a storm of better times all summer long.

I can't believe they have the budget for uselessly long slow mo exits (Ollie's) but they reuse footage of the DP. I know the economy is bad, but really??? They couldn't afford to band together and put some money into their own damn show?

Dude, they reused the exact same shot of Clark superspeeding out of the bullpen from "Turbulence" as in this episode. Haven't you noticed they have zero monies? The marquee kept changing on the Talon all year and yet we've never seen a single customer in the coffee shop because they can't afford extras anymore. I'm kind of glad they put that set out of its misery to become Watchtower.

Plus if you read the casting sides, I can't tell you how many bit parts they wrote into episodes, sent casting sides out for, and then decided not to go through with since they can't afford the actors. The episode two weeks ago was supposed to have Chloe getting in trouble with the police and them suspecting her as Davis' accomplice, and instead I cracked up when Ollie was the one who yelled at her instead and he actually had lines like, "I THOUGHT ABOUT CALLING THE POLICE BUT DECIDED TO JUST TAKE CARE OF THIS MYSELF because we have no monies to hire police officer actors"

Useless slomo exits are really more of a money-saver aren't they? Since you're stretching the footage out so there's less to have to film.

I think both girlfights were longer than the Doomsday fight. I timed it and the entire sequence with Clark on the street to the explosion was less than two minutes, and from the first punch thrown to the end of the explosion was less than one minute. They should have called Lana and had her open up a can of Lana-fu whoopass on Dooms.

The Chloe/Davis scene in question was actually in-character and made sense, which meant it had no place in this episode. He was basically like "blah blah Greek mythology symbolism blah blah IT'S GOING TO WORK AND WE'LL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER!" and Chloe was like, "YAY!" as her face was like, DO NOT WANT. So it was reaaaalllllly WTF after Davis was talking about them finding a place to live and stuff, for the next scene to be all I CANNOT SUPPRESS THE HULK!
