To be fair it does sound like a particularly annoying rick-roll, and I can understand people freaking out over getting a whole bunch of pop-ups and needing to restart. But what gets me is calling out all of Chlark and Chlois fandom as if we are some collective monstrous entity.
Even if Shelly did genuinally believe that is was a Chlarker or Chloiser that send the link, why feel the need to attack and call out other people as a group based on their shipping and character preferences, when apparently it was ONE person who send the link. But a Chlarker conspiracy was immediately seen, right down to her claiming to have been told that Chlarker's on LJ had been seen laughing about their evil plan to infect Cloiser's computers. Why make those kind of baseless claims unless you have an agenda to stir up trouble between the two camps
