I love that fandom is already wanking over Smallville's opening credits next year. Wow, is this going to be a looong summer. But the reason for the wank is that apparently it was confirmed that Aaron Ashmore, the guy playing our own resident misogynistic asshole, is a thirteen-episode regular next year? SCORE.
(I. I just. IT'S JIMMY OLSEN, for crying out loud. "Misogynistic" and "Jimmy Olsen" should never, ever be used in the same sentence.)
Okay, y'all. You know how I went, "OMG! Kat from BSG was that Talon waitress and Chloe's roommate!" a while back? Then I realized Dee was one of Dawn's minions in "Spirit."
So then I went to IMDB, and concluded that Vancouver is an even smaller world than I'd realized. In fact, even as
mojotastic and I were rejoicing, "OMG! HELO ON SMALLVILLE!" IMDB revealed that this is his second appearance: he guested back in S3. AND HE WAS SHIRTLESS THEN TOO. (I KNOW! He was that guy that Clark's blood resurrected!!)
And so, apparently, has EVERYONE ELSE, EVER. Guested, that is. Okay, not most of the major major players, but really. EVERYONE ELSE ON BSG.
Keep in mind that after a point I got bored, and also was not in the least bit interested in rewatching certain episodes just for finding That One Guy. Like, "Velocity" to find the One Guy who played Dante's mechanic? NO.
+ Tahmoh Penikett, Helo from BSG: will soon be playing Lex's sexy new boytoy-slash-guinea-pig three episodes from now, but also played Vince Davis in "Resurrection." HI, HELO!!

+ Aaron Douglas, Chief from BSG: played Deputy Michael Birtigo from "Obscura."

+ Luciana Carro, Kat from BSG, played Kayrin, Chloe's bitchy roommate from "Thirst," as well as the Talon waitress from "Rush" who told Clark and Chloe that their establishment frowned on the public sex, hee.

+ Nicki Clyne, Callie from BSG, played the Talon waitress from "Nicodemus." SRSLY! SHE AND KAT MAY HAVE WORKED SHIFTS AT THE TALON TOGETHER! And OMG, she looks so TINY and YOUNG!

+ Kandyse McClure, Dee from BSG, played one of Dawn's minions in "Spirit."

+ Robert Wisden, the almost-vice-president who lost out the race to a guy who has sex with thin air on BSG, was GABE. We last saw him in the fricking Underground Railroad. HE MAY STILL BE THERE, FOR ALL WE KNOW.

+ Callum Keith Rennie, Leoben from BSG, played Tyler McKnight from "Fragile." ALL OF THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE AND ALL OF THIS WILL HAPPEN AGAIN, OMG. AND HE WAS NOT!HERMIONE'S EVOL GLASS-MANIPULATING DAD!

+ Erica Cerra, Maya from BSG: played Courtney in "Thirst." Second sorority chick from the back, I think. (Bonus: In front is Rachel from Animorphs!)

+ Alisen Down, Jean Barolay in BSG, was Lillian (!) from SV in "Memoria," "Scare," "Lexmas," and "Void."

+ Colin Lawrence plays Hamish 'Skulls' McCall from BSG, and was Agent Stocker from "Gone" and the doctor in "Thirst."

+ Rekha Sharma, Tory from BSG, played Dr. Harden from SV, who was in "Vortex," "Exodus," "Crusade," "Onyx," and "Hidden"?! Hey, continuity, whoa!!

+ Paul Campbell, Billy from BSG, played an FBI agent in "Memoria." ...or, IMDB said he did, but this is a mistake. The FBI didn't factor into "Memoria," so I checked "Forsaken" where they did, but he wasn't credited there either. WOE. I WANTED TO SEE BILLY ON SV!
In the, "I was too lazy to go cap these" category:
Brad Dryborough, Hoshi from BSG, played Dr. Bauer in "Subterranean."
Lorena Gale, the priestess from BSG, played Lex's evol psychiatrist who sold him out to Lionel in "Perry," "Shattered," and "Asylum."
Don Thomas plays Specialist 3rd Class Anthony Figurski from BSG, and was Gabe's friend who helps out Chloe with breaking into Luthorcorp in "Truth" and the other Luthorcorp worker who wasn't Gabe in "Tempest." SHIT. GOOD CONTINUITY MUCH?! WHO KNEW?
And there are more. Lots more. But they were people I haven't gotten to on BSG and hadn't even heard of, or really minor, so I didn't care.
