Also, while generally around this episode on is where Clark started to turn me off, MR plays the whole scene so crazy that I cannot really blame Clark for leaving him in there. Even without being drugged into PSYCHOTIC BREAAAAAAAAAAKS! Lex was always a bit unhinged. :/

I wonder if they shot part of Belle Reve on location somewhere? The tracking shots in the teaser make the place look awfully big for a studio. But they had a lot more space back then in the studio to build big sets too, since S6 the studio's been pretty crammed since they all but never go outside anymore...

THIS EPISODE WAS SO BLUE AND IT LOOKED SOOOOOOO GOOD.
The colors in that opening scene were amazing and then you showed the parallels!!! And then I realized (again) that Greg Beeman was honestly one of best directors on Smallville.

This episode was really good too even though I didn't care much about the Lana/Adam, but it was nice to see.

As someone who's been watching for years, I don't know if I'd recommend it unless you really love trainwrecks (it's in its ninth season and I only really enjoyed three years of the show). Renting is probably the best option to start though. :)
