This episode: still awesome. HATERS TO THE LEFT! ...were there any haters? Unless you're only watching the show for Nois, I think there was pretty much something here for everyone.

This picspam is ridiculously huge. It's not even that the episode was crazy pretty on the whole, it was just awesome. I still can't get over how shamelessly geeky and meta the whole thing was.

Oh, and I totally forgot to cap that wedding photo of Jimmy and Chloe that said, "To the future" on it, but it should be here in spirit! YOUR META IS NOTED AND APPRECIATED, SHOW

Dang. I want to see this ep now. I am exceptionally curious at how trainwrecky and heartbreaky it managed to get. When I saw the preview you posted before, I was pretty satisfied that I would never have to see any SV because even that preview was worse than my wildest imaginings, but now the part of my brain that kinda wants me to die is just longing to see this ass magic.

It was written by a Legion comic book writer who approached the SV writing staff asking to do a Legion episode, and they let him get away with all kinds of easter eggs without caring if the audience got them or not. From a comic fan perspective, I think this is as fanservicey as SV has ever been. The SV Justice League episodes weren't like this one at all. I'd never call SV great television, but this episode is about as good as SV gets, so.

The shoutout's right at the end of the episode, it's really random but it made me grin that they put it in there, even though most SV viewers wouldn't get it at all.

Well, I have no idea if it would be entertaining for someone who hates SV otherwise, but as an episode of SV, it was the most fun they've had in possibly years. The Legion was part of it, but also I liked Clark more in this episode than I have in, like, the last six or seven years of the show.

Brainiac crashed everyone who was looking at a computer in the Metropolis area. Though I strongly suspect that if the show still used Macs, they would not be having these problems. I miss Chloe's funky Torch iMacs so much. :(

EPIC PICSPAM IS EPIC! This episode was so fun! They need to like kidnap the writer of this episode and make him write every episode. He's better than like...everyone else on staff. Clark was likable! I can't even remember the last time I liked Clark so much. And all the Legion people were like "Why is he so emo? Why does he have so many Dashboard CDs? I thought he was susposed to be awesome?" LOL!

CHLARK! OMG our OTP is so precious! I even sort of liked Lana, even though everyone was still orgasming over her ~important destiny~. Interesting Clana scenes!? Who knew?

I KNOW. IT WAS SO META. I LOVED HOW LAME THEY THOUGHT CLARK WAS. And I loved even more how Clark proved he was surprisingly not lame. You know. For the first time in YEARS.

I loved Lana at the end. The final Clana scene was absolutely perfect. Imra's girlcrush had me headdesking, though, especially combined with the Tess/Lana scene next week (where the lesbian subtext was rapidly becoming...text). Lana herself I was totally fine with... But whatever their big *~plot twist~* is concerning her, I'm just assuming it'll ruin all my goodwill towards her. BECAUSE THAT'S HOW SV ROLLS.

(Did you see people speccing how they kept talking about how she was gone *~SEVEN MONTHS~* and wondering if she had a mutant Bizarro baby in the interim? ONLY ON THIS SHOW WOULD WE HAVE TO CONTEMPLATE THIS POSSIBILITY)
