I dunno, but the images from Kandor are at least pretty, how does it end up comparing to Reckoning since JK dies in Clark's arms there too.

These three just seem weirdly similar to me. The actual death scene in Reckoning not so much, it's so short (though the deleted scene at the Fortress comes off pretty Jesus-y). Labyrinth and Phantom both had a bit of pietà cradling, but not filmed as epic, while with these three I feel like they're linked somehow: Clark dying in the premiere, Jenry dying when we all thought it would be Clark, and now Jor-El biting it while wearing Darth Clark's outfit.

Clark is totally alien jesus! How could we have missed such subtle hints!

I do wonder if it's a cycling:

Chloe holds dying Clark
Chloe holds dying Jimmy (who SHOULD HAVE BEEN CLARK in the SERIES finale)
Clark holds his dying bio-dad

Does that mean next pieta holding is CLARK holding someone like either a catch of Chloe in flight OR, god please, some dead Nois corpse?

If Clark isn't real!Clark now...and Jor-El is dressed as Darth Clark too... maybe this one is a placeholder for basically showing, "This shit is bananas."

So when we get real Clark back, the mirror would be: Clark holds dying Nois (to mirror Jenry), and then Clark holds Chloe and they fly together (to mirror the last shot in the Odyssey column)?

Labyrinth and Phantom both have the pieta blocking, but neither one has the epic-looking wider shots that the above three have going, those are pretty tightly shot the whole way through.
