Clark's like, "Girls are inviting me over to their places to have hottub orgies! When will I ever find a girl who isn't about shallow, stupid hottub orgies, and will love me for my sparkling personality? MY LIFE IS SO HARD!"

Lana's all, "Oh noes, I need to give it up to Jensen Ackles! MY LIFE IS SO HARD!"

Chloe's all, "Teenage sex is bad! I have statistics to back this up! There will be a PSA at the end of the episode! Now, teenage viewers, enjoy this long, lingering foreplay sequence of Tom Welling prancing around shirtless, which will in no way convince any of you that sex is awesome! Mixed messages? WHAT MIXED MESSAGES?"

And then Clark almost got date-raped, but everyone was too busy paddling in the shallow end to care.

Wow, gorgeous colouring!! ♥ I adooore this episode, and I think a large part of the reason why is that the actress who plays Alicia does such a brilliant job. This scene could have played out completely differently if it weren't for Alicia appearing quite so genuinely smitten with Clark. ..those last two caps are hilarious and heartbreaking.
